About The Retreat
MOVEMENT & BREATHWORK RETREAT
20–24 June 2025
Escape to the serene Spanish countryside, just one hour from Málaga, for a transformative Movement and Breathwork Retreat. With intentionally limited spaces, this retreat offers a deeply personal experience, ensuring one-to-one attention that sets us apart.
Let the expertise of Daniel Zivatovic (physiotherapist and movement coach) @denchija and Ola Daniewska (OM founder and osteopath) @om_hackney guide you through daily movement sessions, morning breathwork, and Qi Gong practices that will leave you feeling reconnected and revitalised.
Our sanctuary is El Cachete, a 150-year-old farmhouse nestled in 80 acres of peaceful olive groves. Sustainably designed, it features solar-heated water, a private well, and vegetarian meals prepared with seasonal, organic, and local ingredients.
Breathe in the mountain air during your practices, unwind by the pool, and restore your balance with the on-site sauna and ice plunge.
This is more than a retreat—it's an opportunity to step away from daily stress and reconnect with yourself in a peaceful, restorative haven.

A bit about me
I'm a London-based movement teacher and physiotherapist with more than 18 years' experience. After working in a variety of clinical settings, I gradually transitioned into personal and online coaching. My personal practice and teachings draw on various disciplines, such as gymnastics, martial arts, dance and rehab. As a young man, I was not so fit and healthy, but overcame several obstacles to improve the way I move and live!
What I teach

FLEXIBILITY AND MOBILITY TRAINING
People can be tempted to skip this part and jump straight into strength or skill training. However, we need a solid foundation to build upon. Our body parts rarely work in isolation, so a holistic approach is beneficial. Having a good range and control in the shoulders, spine and hips (just to name a few important areas) can help with achieving a range of skills, as well as bringing ease to everyday movement.
STRENGTH TRAINING
Strength work should be a staple of everyone's practice, especially as we get older. If you're working towards a specific skill, your practice can be tailored to fit that goal. My programmes focus on bodyweight training, with the help of weights, gymnastic rings and the environment itself.

SKILL TRAINING
Want to develop your handstand from scratch? Maybe you're working on your first press to handstand. Or perhaps your focus is a gymnastic rings or bar skill, e.g. muscle-ups. Smart and individual programming is what really matters here.

FLOORWORK, LOCOMOTION AND IMPROV WORK
Creative, ground-based movement is a key part of my practice and teachings. This combines floor-work dance, martial arts and improvisation. It's a way to bring all the above areas of training together. In addition, spending more time in a flow state is known to positively impact our cognition and longevity.
